Remote Object Controller
The ROC is a general purpose control and monitoring system that may be used for supervising important equipment such as freezers, pumps, furnaces or any thing else you can connect a sensor to. The ROC is suitable for many automation and control applications as well. It can report alarm and other status messages to your phone using voice, send email, text messages or report to an existing central station using standard alarm reporting protocols such as SIA and Conctact ID.

Networked
The ROC is equipped with an on-board 10/100 Ethernet port. It knows how to "call home" to the Interopix data server and once connected it is accessible from the customer's account on the server. There you can communicate directly with your controllers and reconfigure, update, reprogram, set outputs, and see live sensor status.
Phone enabled
A capable phone modem is built into the ROC. The modem is used to report alarm and status messages. The ROC has an option for a voice prompted menu system over the phone line so you can access it from any telephone. The voice menu is completely configurable by the customer to enable you to create the interface required for your unique needs.
Wireless
With an optional expansion module, the ROC can communicate using GSM technology. Anything you can do over the network and over the phone line modem, you can also do over the GSM-link.
Configurable
32 phone numbers, 168 inputs with up to 6 event windows each, timers, states, conditions, schedules and much much more. There are many applications you can address with the ROC without writing a single line of code. The configuration system is designed to be extremely flexible and it is all done through the server's web interface.
Programmable
If there is an application you can't address with the ROC's configuration system, then you can implement your own solution. The ROC is programmable in an easy-to-use scripting language. The programming environment is seemlessly integrated into the configuration system so there is nothing for you to install. Just go to the website, locate the controller, and start writing your own scripts or choose a pre-packaged script or script template from our library. You can even create your own script library and reuse your valuable functionality over and over again.
Expandable
An on-board SD-card connector allows you to expand the ROC with up to 2GB of storage. Expansion memory may be used for voice prompts, data logging or customer application programs.
Flexible
You can connect any sensor or signal conditioner to the ROC with an output range of 0-10V. Dry contact sensors are supported by enabling an input's pull-up resistor. Each input has a 10-bit ADC and configurable with up to 6 event windows. There is an on-board serial port which may be used to capture and report event information from legacy systems, send control and other information to those systems, or used for hardcopy logging.
